Not sure I got the values right, but the framework is interesting to me….

it probably falls apart almost everywhere but an interesting opportunity for Portland to farm all its growth out to other teams that need it and reset a fresh group.

Phil - sends Simons on to Orlando for some package. cleans its books and improves the roster with several players instead of one rookie and two painful contracts.

Mavs - address both their forward spots right now with great young forwards. honestly this is probably the longest shot of the trade, but it's also Portland's two best players.

Bucks - get four pretty good young assets and 3 of their drafts back. also exchange Dame's 112 million for a look at an expiring Ayton.

Spurs - Giannis, at a pretty high price, probably too high.

Portland - takes its foot entirely off the gas and invests in this draft hoping two of the top three will become all NBA players someday.

entirely unrealistic but fun to play with….

Orlando gets an offensive guard and a better defensive specialist at half the cost, but gives up helpful role players to do it.

Philidelphia gets off of George and gets several helpful pieces to put around their guards.

Portland eats contracts to add a young piece and pull the rebuild forward.

what do you think? how should I make changes?…

The Bucks get four picks and two swaps with Cason Wallace. high lottery this year and the best pick out of Portland, Boston, and their own in 2029. They get their own swaps back in 28 and 30. they also get the Portland picks in 28 and 30 as long as the protections on the 28 have already lifted. They also get some very serviceable pieces including Cason Wallace and a huge expiring in Ayton that can be used to tank, to trade, or to just get salary relief at the end of the year.

OKC gets Giannis to pair with SGA and keep most of their current important depth and stars. trade back a few spots in the lottery.

Portland gets Chet. Portland moves their most valuable draft assets but not all their draft assets. Get Chet who fills the biggest hole in Portland's current roster. Takes Kuzma as salary filler from Milwaukee. if you don't think it's a vale to the Bucks to get Kuzma and his contract off the team I would undo that part of the trade. I don't think Portland wants him; I do think they w…

Pels keep their picks just the swaps go back to the bucks.

Bucks get all their drafts back.

Portland moves into contending range. looks for vet point guards to join the team….

Off of Dame's lame duck contract. Expiring contracts. Simons has some value. two of their own swaps and one of their own picks. a lottery pick in 25. picks in 28, 30, and 32.

is this Portland overpaying?…

I'm sure there are better Tatum trades out there.

that said its s huge money play for the Celtics. they get a lottery pick immediately, several prospects and picks to rebuild around brown, and a tone of salary relief….

How unrealistic is this trade?

The Portland pick moves from bulls to suns and the protections get pulled. it happens after the lottery in case Portland moves up. so only if it is the 9/10 pick….

Orlando gets offensive guards and two Bigs, two of the contracts are small.

Portland gets a prospect, a first, and salary match. Portland can buy out Wagner and let him get back to Orlando for next year if that's important.

is this crazy?…

how bad is this trade?

the goal is Houston gets an amazing support system for their young players, shed two big contracts, and get a valuable pick that would help secure Giannis in the future.

Portland gets a couple mentors, and two exceptional young players that are exactly on the right timeline.

I doubt I have gotten value right, but I'm looking for feedback. Thanks….
